Feathered or feather boa?

This is one of the many great questions while I'm editing my short story collection. I know soon it will be done, and I'll have to get back to writing my book. Now though, I have a better understanding of what it takes and of my characters too. This was a great diversion. I understand writing so much better now. =)

In other news, I went kayaking yesterday. Open kayak. SOoooooooooooooooooo awesome. I was like a water bug, I could move that easily on the water. We took a few pictures but they're film so we'll get them back.... Minus 5 years ago. Our Walmart doesn't do film anymore and Walgreens charged- get this- 15 DOLLARS for one roll of film. >.> Screw you. And there's no cheap Costco within a whole state here... So we'll get the pictures eventually.

I can't wait to get my website up and running. There's some weird problem with it and I admit, I'm not trying very hard. Trying to avoid life but a whole summer has gone by and it's time.

Birds make good pets

Part of my optimism is that one of my ex's is in prison for armed robbery. So you never know what will happen and what exactly you avoided.

I want to get a macaw someday.



They're intelligent, long-living, and we can talk to each other ^-^ I'm doing research for a story and starting to really appreciate them. 

Why don't people know what bangles are?

Noun A rigid bracelet or anklet. I mention them here and people are like, what are those? How can they not know what these amazing bracelets are? Maybe it's really not a common word. I read a lot of older books growing up, as in from the 40s, etc., maybe that's why I know it here in the Southwest. In other news, my new website is finally working. Sortof. I cannot figure out why the front page won't show. Once I do, I will link it here. In more other news, I am addicted to 'Devious Maids.' I know, Desperate Housewives ends and I become addicted to essentially the same show. It's a good show... Mystery, drama, pretty people, the reminder that money doesn't solve your problems but it does let you create new ones. Today was fall weather.. and I was calm and happy for the first time in months. It's settled, I don't like summer. I like the cold. I love the snow. I love the boots, the jeans, the coats, the scarves!!! Mostly I love the feeling of romance and Christmas, which the cold weather always reminds me of. And skiing. Summer is truly almost over. Right now I have a stack of papers laying against my neck. I'm editing my story from a printed copy and it seemed logical to place them there while I type this, but now I fear a massive pupercut artery severing if I don't leave. Adios, Jenny
