I know other countries have much better health insurance... It's like a dream.
I read about this man today who died from a tooth infection.

This is unacceptable. With all the things we help people to do, and all the needless things we spend money on, why can't we help people afford health insurance? There are some programs, but there are so many holes in them and a lot of people who need it don't really qualify either. Or they don't know about them, because circumstances change and they may need them suddenly. Ideally, we could all afford health insurance, but some of us are poor, either permanently or temporarily, and how will we ever get ahead if our health is always bad?
And on a side note, I've been thinking a lot about journalism and emotions lately. On one hand, news must be truth, because we must have an accurate description of history. On the other hand, we are emotional as humans and it's difficult to completely take the emotions out. A lot of reporters don't know the difference.
