If Disciplines All Worked Together, Played Together

I'm reading an article about how design and new products are helping the world's poor. And it's very true- from products like a very cheap prosthetic leg in India to community programs and housing designs in Thailand. Imagine. An everyday person, or a creative one at least, can see these problems that have solutions. Can you imagine if they could work together with doctors or engineers, who could propose solutions that one person in one field might not know? Basically, everyone should know a bit more about entrepreneurship and the world.

Same thing with any two fields. Every field has its own something to offer, and you never know when it will pop up and be useful. Engineering is very good with biology, hence biomedical engineering. Psychology helps with basically everything. Biology can be good with engineering too, someday, like using live things in technology. And just knowing the world's problems isn't enough- it needs the designs and products.

And hell, Steve Jobs. Calligraphy class= kick ass computer designs/artwork. All two fields eventually intersect.

Someone needs to stop and look and realize that we'll get a lot further if we all know more than just one thing. There are patterns in the world, same across all fields, if you look for them. And I'm not even high.
