Why don't people know what bangles are?

Noun A rigid bracelet or anklet. I mention them here and people are like, what are those? How can they not know what these amazing bracelets are? Maybe it's really not a common word. I read a lot of older books growing up, as in from the 40s, etc., maybe that's why I know it here in the Southwest. In other news, my new website is finally working. Sortof. I cannot figure out why the front page won't show. Once I do, I will link it here. In more other news, I am addicted to 'Devious Maids.' I know, Desperate Housewives ends and I become addicted to essentially the same show. It's a good show... Mystery, drama, pretty people, the reminder that money doesn't solve your problems but it does let you create new ones. Today was fall weather.. and I was calm and happy for the first time in months. It's settled, I don't like summer. I like the cold. I love the snow. I love the boots, the jeans, the coats, the scarves!!! Mostly I love the feeling of romance and Christmas, which the cold weather always reminds me of. And skiing. Summer is truly almost over. Right now I have a stack of papers laying against my neck. I'm editing my story from a printed copy and it seemed logical to place them there while I type this, but now I fear a massive pupercut artery severing if I don't leave. Adios, Jenny
